摘要 <p>To summarise, the invention may again be described as follows. The subject of the invention is a method and a device for the pre-cooling of a system for the production of low-temperature air, air being fed under pressure to an air duct in order to pass in succession through a dehumidifier, a drier and a heat exchanger, a cryogenic, liquified gas furthermore being fed to a gas duct in order to pass through the heat exchanger to the dehumidifier for the exchange of heat between the pressurised air and the liquified gas, in order to cool the pressurised air to a low temperature. The method according to the invention includes the following stages: interruption of the pressurised air feed; introduction of the cryogenic, liquified gas into the gas duct for introduction of the gas through the heat exchanger into the dehumidifier and introduction of this gas, on emerging from the dehumidifier, into the air duct, in order to lead the gas through the dehumidifier, the drier and the heat exchanger in succession. In the case of the device according to the invention for the pre-cooling of a system for the production of low temperature air by the method according to the invention, the outlet of the gas feed in the dehumidifier is connected by a valve to the inlet of the air feed of the dehumidifier.</p>
