The invention relates to means for analysing powdered materials. The metering apparatus for the dispersed powder constituents comprises a device 1 for converting the powder into a gaseous flux with its separated particles, a charging chamber 2 in which each particle acquires a charge proportional to its surface area, a precipitation capacitor 4 in which the flow of charged particles is separated into different fractions according to the dimensions of the particles, a device 5 for measuring the total charge of each fraction, a switching device 7 for each sensor and an electrometric amplifier 8 onto which all the charged-particle sensors are connected up through the corresponding switching device 7, each switching device 7 comprising a contact in a sealed bulb. The invention may be used for analysing dispersed micropowder constituents in a granulometric range of 63 to 0.5 mu m. <IMAGE>
