PURPOSE:To attain the miniaturization and small power consumption by using a Geneva gear to actuate a press-contact roller selection member with the revolution of a power assist gear. CONSTITUTION:A record/reproduction head is shifted to the reproduction and stop positions with forward/reverse revolutions of a motor and a power assist gear 50 driven by the power of the motor. At the same time, a press-contact roller selection member 60 is linked to the revolution of a Geneva gear 59 which can be coupled to the pin part of the gear 50 owing to the revolutions of the gear 50. Thus it is possible to have the selective press-contact between each capstan and the press-contact roller of the forward or reverse direction by the revolutions of the gear 50. As a result, the coincidence is obtained between the revolutions of the press-contact roller and the advance timing of the record/reproduction head. Thus it is possible to obtain a miniature reverse mechanism with small power consumption. |
