PURPOSE:To reduce the height of a cap so as to minimize the size thereof by projecting a central high tension terminal and the half number or more of sided high tension terminals from the same side part of the cap shell of a distributor and projecting the other sided high tension terminals from the upper face of the cap in the same direction as the central high tension terminal. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal cap 1 of a distributor having four sided high tension terminals 3a to 3d is constituted as that a central high tension terminal 2 and two sided high tension terminals 3b and 3c are projected from the shell part thereof and the other two sided high tension terminals 3a and 3d are projected from the upper face of the cap 1, said all terminals standing in the same direction. The cap 1 may be thereby reduced in height remarkably and also in size by a reasonable manner. The sided electrodes 11a to 11d, embedded in the cap 1, are capable of being equally spaced about the center of a carbon electrode piece 8 connected to the center electrode 6, and such rational spacing may enhance insulating performance and higher total performance. |
