PURPOSE:To provide a storage battery which has a terminal having good liquid- proofness and productivity by inserting a terminal electrode pole into a cover hole installing a sleeve in its upper part, putting a ring on the outside of the sleeve, placing a connecting terminal having a sleeve stopper, and fixing by a tapping screw from the upper part. CONSTITUTION:A terminal electrode pole 9 having a tapping screw hole 12 in its tip is inserted into a cover hole 4 installing a thin sleeve 2 in its upper part. A ring 10 is put on the outside of the sleeve 2. A connecting terminal 5 forming a sleeve stopper 6 which covers the sleeve 2 and froming a screw hole 8 so as to contact the tapping screw hole 12 is placed on the top of the electrode pole 9. A tapping screw 11 is screwed from the top of the connecting terminal 5. By the taper of the inside 7 of the sleeve stopper 6, the ring 10 presses the outside 3 of the sleeve 10 to form a deformation part 13. A liquid-proofness structure is formed by a compression part 14 of the terminal electrode pole 9 and the deformation part 13. |
