PURPOSE:To eliminate a complicated current control circuit, etc. and make a compressor compact, by introducing high-pressure refrigerant discharged into a housing to outside of the housing through a heating device comprising a thermosensitive resistor element of positive characteristic, and incorporating the heating device in the compressor. CONSTITUTION:High-pressure refrigerant discharged into a housing 2 is fed to a heater fixed to a conical tube 31 provided at an opening end 19 of an outlet conduit 18 and insulated by an insulating material, comprising a thermosensitive resistor element 20 of positive characteristic, and is heated by the heater. Then, the refrigerant is fed through the outlet conduit 18 to a four-way valve 21, and in a heating operation, it is condensed by radiation in a heat exchanger 22 on utilization side, and is expanded by pressure reduction in a restriction device 23. Then, it is evaporated by heat absorption in a heat exchanger 24 on heat source side, and is returned through a suction pipe 7 to a compressor. With this arrangement, self-control of heating current is applicable, and it is not required to provide a temperature sensor for the refrigerant and a complicated current control circuit. Further, a heating device may be incorporated in the compressor to reduce cost of the device and make it compact. |
