PURPOSE:To simplify a transfer apparatus and the operation thereof, by making it possible to allow a transfer film to closely contact with the inner surface of a female mold by providing a suction means to the female mold having an inner side surface of which the shape is same to the outer shape of a deformed member. CONSTITUTION:A transfer film 7 is guided into a male mold 18 by rolls 9, 9 so as to oppose the surface thereof to the inner side surface of the female mold 8 and the air chamber 16 of the female mold 18 is evacuated by a vacuum pump 19 to allow the transfer film 7 to closely contact with the inner side suface of the female mold 18. On the other hand, a deformed member 4 preheated to about 150 deg.C through a preheating chamber 6 is sent into the female mold 18 and the entire bent inner peripheral surface of the transfer film 7 sucked to the inner side surface of the female mold 18 is forcibly brought into contact with the outer surface of the deformed member 4 to transfer the transfer foil thereof to the outer surface of the deformed member 4. The film 8 after transfer is wound up by a wind-up roll 8'' through rollers 10, 10 in synchronous relation to the moving speed of the deformed member 4 and the transfer foil is successively transferred to the outer surface of the deformed member 4 which is, in turn, sent to the next process. |
