The subject of the invention relates to the technical field of working the ground in agriculture. This head is noteworthy in that it comprises a coupling socket 1 fitted with a control shaft with a means using an endless screw 5 and cog wheel 12 for driving a transverse shaft revolving in rings 7 and 8 of a shaped support 6 securely fastened to the said socket 1; plates 13-14 with eccentric cranks being fastened to the ends of the said shaft for the purpose of driving connecting rods 17 and 18 connected by means of a rod 19 to a lower slide 20 which can move in a slideway 21 itself articulated at 24 between the branches 23a of a calliper 23 which can be adjusted at 23c fastened in position at 25 to the branch 6b of the shaped support; the said slide 20 allowing, due to its protruding lower part, the fastening at 26 of the gardening tool 27 imparted, due to the said slide, with a forward and back pivoting movement, and a heightwise displacement movement, a casing P fixed by tabs P1 protecting the mechanism. This head makes it possible to fasten any gardening tool such as a cutting hoe, combined hoe and fork, rake, double plough. <IMAGE>
