<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a filter regenerator where the firing capacity of electric heater is improved, by providing a filter preheating heater and a particulate firing heater on the front face of filter. CONSTITUTION:At first power is fed only to a filter preheating heater 31 to increase the temperature at the circumference of front face of filter 36 to 300- 400 deg.C. After elapsing predetermined time power is fed to a particulate firing heater 32 while to interrupt power supply to said heater 31. By means of particulate firing heater arranged in the center of front face of filter 36, the filter 36 will reach to firing temperature to burn particulates caught in the filter 36 to self burn toward downstream.</p> |
