<p>PURPOSE:To prevent supercharged air from shortage and improper temperature rise due to the resistance of Venturi tube for a carbureter by connecting a second intake system path to the portion upstream of the carbureter. CONSTITUTION:Since a control valve 13 is closed in the low speed rotational range having low supercharging pressure, the whole amount of intake passing through an air cleaner 9 and a supercharger 11 flows through a first intake system path 6 to be supplied into a cylinder 2 through a first intake valve 3 set for the low speed. In the high speed rotational range where the supercharging pressure exceeds a set value, the control valve 13 is opened so that a portion of intake discharged from the supercharger 11 is introduced into a second intake system path 7 to be supplied into the cylinder 2 through a second intake valve 4 set for the high speed.</p> |
