In a hopper system conceived as a transporting unit for the active storage of a plurality of bulk product components, said bulk product components being stored in hopper compartments which are arranged successively and are constructed from detachably joined wall elements, said wall elements are connected to one another via wedge connections. For this purpose, the wall elements have along their abutting edges in each case a row of boreholes in which a strip is inserted which is fitted correspondingly with stud bolts. Said stud bolts are each provided with an elongate hole into which a wedge is finally driven. The invention provides a simple and reliable and, above all, rapid connection of the construction elements of a hopper system. <IMAGE>
