Combined pneumatic central-locking and theft-prevention system for the doors of a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a combined pneumatic central-locking and theft-prevention system for the doors of a motor vehicle. Such a system contains two mutually independent sets of pneumatic actuators for the central-locking part and for the theft-prevention part of the system, which can be connected to a corresponding air pump by way of separate line systems. The actuators actuate the corresponding blocking members in the closures of the various doors. The invention is to achieve a reversing sequence control of the two system parts, which is independent of any leakages in the pneumatic part of the system and which works independently of delay throttling. For this purpose, two separate air-supply units for each part of the combined system are provided. Moreover, a relay, closed in the position of rest, is arranged respectively in the voltage supply to the pump starters of the respective air-supply units. The relays are activatable crosswise by the other respective air-supply unit and by a line portion which carries voltage only in the operating states in which the other respective air-supply unit is to be delayed.
