The invention relates to a tool hopper for automatic exchange having a base plate, receiving clips and receiving elements, at least two of which are adjustable. The moving receiving elements can be adjusted according to a rough positioning of the tool in the area of recesses and are adjusted and subsequently secured for precision positioning with the stacker elements on the tool side. More than three receiving elements may be provided per tool. The receiving clips can be mounted so as to be displaceable in one or two directions. The receiving elements may be limited outwards with receiving bevels. Adjustment may be automatic.
