Wheel suspension for motor vehicles

In wheel suspensions for motor vehicles which are equipped with a wheel spring having a helical spring, for functional reasons a certain reciprocal assignment may be required for the individual parts of the wheel suspension, which assignment, in conjunction with other aspects of the construction necessitated by the design of the vehicle may impose structural compromises. In order to be able to dispense with expensive compromise solutions in such cases, it is proposed to allow one or more vehicle components to be correspondingly assigned to the helical springs to project between coil parts of a spring turn having a greater pitch than the regular pitch of the helical spring or to lead these through the expanded spring section of the helical spring.
