PURPOSE:To facilitate fitting work on a seal and promote the reliability of its fitting, by providing the fitting peripheral edge of a cowling with an engaging part, on which the seal is engaged. CONSTITUTION:An engaging part 20, whose thickness gradually increases downward, is provided at a fitting peripheral edge 17 along its entire perimeter. A seal 18 fitted on the peripheral edge 17 has an elastic force in such a direction that both the edges 18A, 18B along the mouth of the U-shaped section of the seal are closed toward each other when no external force acts to the seal. Both the edges 18A, 18B of the seal 18 are engaged on the engaging part 20 at the fitting peripheral edge 17 so that the seal is firmly fitted on the peripheral edge. According to this constitution, the fitting work on the seal 18 is facilitated and the reliability of its fitting is promoted. |
