PURPOSE:To simplify a work by reducing a man-hour, and to execute the work automatically by making a combined body by fixing both ends of plural flat tubes to a head plate, and fitting forcibly a corrugated fin between each adjacent flat tube. CONSTITUTION:A combined body 32 consisting of a header plate 2 and flat tubes 3 is made by inserting both end tube expansion parts of each flat tube 3 into flat tube inserting holes of the header plate 2, respectively, and welding the tube expansion part and a flange by an automatic welding equipment. Subsequently, a corrugated fin 4 is fitted forcibly between each adjacent flat tube 3 in the combined body 32, and also the corrugated fin 4 is placed in the outside of the flat tubes 3 of both side ends. Each flat tube 3 is bent slightly and the fin 4 of the outside end is curved to the outside. When a side plate 5 is pushed in from the outside of this fin 4, and its engaging part 13 is engaged to a projecting part 10 of the plate 2, the engaging part 13 of the plate 5 is engaged firmly to the projecting part 10 of the plate 2. |
