PURPOSE:To provide a hair cosmetic giving moderate style-keeping property and comfortable feeling to the hair, and containing a component obtained by extracting a vegetable with a polar solvent, and silk fiber or hydrolyzed silk. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair cosmetic contains (A) 0.01-1.0wt% (in terms of solid) of a component obtained by extracting a vegetable (e.g. birch, rosemarry, arnica, sage, etc.) with a polar solvent and (B) 0.1-5.0wt% of silk fiber or hydrolyzed silk. The ratio of the vegetable extract to the silk fiber, etc. is 1-8. The silk fiber may be used in the form of fine powder of the fiber itself or the fiber treated with an acid, however, it is preferable to use a product hydrolyzed with an acid, alkali or an enzyme. The molecular weight of the decomposed product is preferably 350-30,000. |
