PURPOSE:To remove mud remaining in a chemical washing system and to prevent corrosion or scale troubles on a heat transfer surface by a method wherein a centrifugal separator is arranged in an acid solution circulating system and undissolved substances floating in the acid solution is removed. CONSTITUTION:A machine to be washed here comprises a steam drum 1A, a water drum 1B and fall water pipes or steam pipes connecting the former two. A circulation pump 2B is arranged in the chemical washing circulation system in such a manner that one end of the pump is connected to the water drum 1B through a pipe 2A and the other end is connected to the centrifugal separator 3D through a pipe 2C, a pipe 3A, a valve 3B and a pipe 3C. In the case of chemical washing of a boiler, a chemical washing agent is blended in a chemical injection system and after a heated chemical washing solution is poured into the boiler to a level near a reference level, the washing solution is circulated through the water drum 1B, the pipe 2A, the circulation pump 2B, the centrifugal separator 3D, a tank 3G, a pump 3K, a pipe 3L, a valve 3M and the steam drum 1A in that order to thereby perform the chemical washing process for the boiler. |
