PURPOSE:To control a spring constant of a tire according to a car speed and a condition of a road surface by providing surge tank parts respectively on the inner and the outer peripheral faces and putting a pressure space in the tire and each surge tank part in comunication with each other through a solenoid valve respectively. CONSTITUTION:The first surge tank 5 is provided on the outer peripheral face of a rim 3 in a pressure space of a tire 4. Further, the second surge tank part 6 is provided in the inner peripheral face of the rim 3. The surge tank 5 is provided with the first solenoid valve 7 which puts the pressure space in the tire 4 in communication with the surge tank part 5 and also intercepts said space from said part 5. In like manner, the second solenoid valve 8 is provided between the surge tank part 5 and the surge tank part 6. Since both solenoid valves 7, 8 are placed under opening/closing control according to the car speed and a condition of the road surface, the spring constant of the tire is automatically controlled. |
