PURPOSE:To stabilize electrical and photoconductive characteristics by laminating the 1st layer consisting of an amorphous material contg. Si and Ge or Sn and either of O or N and the 2nd layer consisting of an amorphous material contg. Si and one kind among O, C and N and making the boundary face thereof non-parallel with the free surface. CONSTITUTION:Ruggedness which is smaller than the resolving power required for a photoreceptive member and is smooth is formed on the surface of the base 101. The 1st layer 102 thereon is constituted of the amorphous material contg. Si and either of Ge or Sn and one kind selected from oxygen atoms, carbon atoms and nitrogen atoms. The layer having the free surface 104 is constituted of the amorphous silicon contg. any one of the oxygen atoms, carbon atoms or nitrogen atoms in a uniformly distributed state. The appearance of interference fringe patterns is thereby prevented and the visible image having good quality is formed. |
