<p>Direct drill seeder apparatus includes a support member (14), and a coulter (24, 25) depending from the support member and positionable to cut a narrow furrow as the apparatus moves over ground to te sown. The arrangement is such that the furrow extends in the direction of the coulter. A seed supply tube (26) is positionable to deliver seed to the furrow laterally of the coulter cutting edge, and a trailing press wheel (28) is mounted to the support member (14) for closing over the furrow to cover the seed delivered to the furrow.</p> |
