PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for visit to an exchange side at every occasion by applying an output of a trunk circuit to a test signal detecting circuit provided to a command console side for attaining diagnosis of the trunk circuit to attain ease of remote control. CONSTITUTION:When the command console 1 transmits a prescribed signal to catch a trunk circuit desired for diagnosis, e.g., 8a, and indicates automatic dial to an automatic response telephone set 10 succeedingly, a controller 3 takes over it and controls a trunk control circuit 5 and an exchange main body control circuit 4, and controls a trunk circuit selecting circuit 9 so that the desired trunk circuit 8a is caught and its output terminal is connected to the automatic response telephone set 10, and an automatic exchange main body 6 is operated so that a test signal transmission circuit 7 is connected to an input terminal of the trunk circuit 8a at the same time. Thus, the automatic response telephone set 10 responds automatically at first, an output of the test signal transmission circuit 7 is applied to a test signal detecting circuit 11 afterward, and an output of the detecting circuit 11 diagnoses the trunk circuit 8a. |
