PURPOSE:To make manufacture easy by a method wherein a textile strip such as a yarn or a tape is wound on a mandrel whose slope is equivalent to the end part of a stator winding and, after it is wound, impregnated with thermosetting resin by a method such as vacuum pressure impregnation and then subjected to thermal treatment. CONSTITUTION:An insulation ring 2, a pressing board 3 and a spacer 4 are provided to the outside circumference, to the inside circumference and between the upper and lower windings of the end part 1 of a stator winding respectively and they are fixed and held firmly and solidly by bolts, binding thread or the like. In order to produce the insulation ring 2, a mandrel 9, to the both ends of which cylindrical rings 10a, 10b are provided coaxially and which has a slope equivalent to the end part of the stator winding, is prepared and a textile strip 11 such as a yarn or a tape is wound on the barrel of the mandrel 9 so as to land on the cylindrical rings 10a, 10b. After that the textile strip is impregnated with thermosetting resin and hardened by heat. |
