A sedimentation rack designed to indicate sedimentation rate of the blood, the blood sedimentation reaction, after a predetermined time, includes one or more brackets (2) for reaction tubes (3), into which blood is to be poured, and a body with a specific weight between that of blood corpuscles (1.1 g/cm<3>) and plasma (1.02 g/cm<3>). This body is placed in the reaction tube and so floats in the blood. According to the invention, for every bracket (2,5) of the reaction tubes (3), there is a clamp comprising a rod (11) or similar device, and a driver device; this is so designed that when initiated by a control device, the rod (11) is moved with sufficient force against the reaction tube's (3) exterior to grip the said body inside the reaction tube, after the requisite predetermined time has passed since the reaction tube was put in its bracket.<IMAGE> |
