The door drive mechanism has a spindle (3) which is mounted in bearings (5) in a sectional rail (1) and with which a carriage (4) fastened to the door is engaged driveably by means of a thread complementing the spindle (3) and is moveable along the sectional rail. This door drive mechanism also has a thread (10) and a drive motor (11-13) for the gear and spindle. To ensure a more economical production, to simplify the assembly and to make transport easier, according to the invention not only the spindle (3), but also the gear (10) and drive motor (11-13) are arranged in succession in the longitudinal direction (6) within the sectional rail (1) and the length (L) of the sectional rail (1) is only a little greater than the stroke (H) of the carriage (4). <IMAGE> |
