PURPOSE:To prepare a processed food having soft palatability from an inexpensive material, economically, by immersing a large-sized dried cuttle arm in water, left in a packaging material to effect the softening of the arm, and cutting, skewering and seasoning the arm. CONSTITUTION:A large-sized dried cuttle arm 1 is used as a raw material. The arm is immersed in water, left in a packaging material 4 for a definite time interval to effect the softening of the arm, and split into two or more thin strips 1b by a splitting machine. A proper number of the strips 1b are skewered with the skewer 8, and immersed in a hot seasoning liquid to effect the seasoning of the food. |
