PURPOSE:To equalize an image quality in one image surface by constituting so that the influence to the image quality by a variation of the potential of a latent image of an exposed part of a photosensitive body, which is caused by an hourly difference extending from an exposure to a development is corrected by a copying process. CONSTITUTION:A data of an optical attenuation characteristic (a time aging characteristic, etc. of the potential of a latent image) of a photosensitive body is accumulated in advance in a data base 17, a condition information 18 is obtained by detecting an environmental condition, a using condition, etc. of the photosensitive body at the time of copying, it is operated and processed by matching it with an information related to the optical attenuation characteristic from the data base 17 conforming to its condition by an operating part 19, an appropriate correcting controlled value is set by a setting part 20, and an object to be controlled 21 in the copying process is controlled. In this object to be controlled, a developing bias voltage, a transfer charge current, an exposure light quantity, an applied voltage to the photosensitive body, etc. are contained, and a difference between the potential of a low density part having a strong influence on an image quality at the time of copying and the developing bias voltage becomes constant in the tip part and the rear end part of a image. Accordingly, the image quality becomes constant in one image surface. |
