PURPOSE:To improve the straightness of a wire electrode, by providing two wire electrode supporting parts for a die guide, at a fixed distance apart. CONSTITUTION:A die guide 5 has two supporting parts 6, 7 at a fixed distance apart, and holes 8, 9 introducing and discharging machining liquid are provided between said two supporting parts 6, 7. In this way, the straightness of a wire electrode 2 in its machining area is improved without being influenced by an angle at which the wire electrode 2 enters into the die guide 5, resulting in the improvement of machining accuracy. |
