PURPOSE:To provide efficient locating operation by equipping a reversible, stepless locational rotary table, such as a welding positioner, a turn-table indexing table, etc., with a rotation control means to allow attainment of target value in the shortest time. CONSTITUTION:A temporary memory m to store constants such as target position count amount R, maximum count amount thetao, etc. fed from an input device 2 is incorporated into a controller body 1 consisting of a micro-computer etc. This controller body 1 is connected to a servo motor M through a servo amplifier 3, and rotary table T is rotated by this servo motor M. This servo motor M is connected with an increment type pulse counter 4, and the rotational angle of the rotary table T is sensed by an adding device 5. These pulse counter 4 and adding device 5 constitute a position sensor 6. The rotary table T is also connected with an origin point sensor, and an origin point signal is transmitted to said adding device 5 to update its contents. |
