PURPOSE:To perform uniform lining inside a slender pipe, by forming corona discharge at the opened end part of the pipe body, ionically charging paint particles sprayed to said opened part with electricity by an inflow air stream caused by said discharge, and introducing the charged particles into the pipe body. CONSTITUTION:An ionizing electrode 3 or the like is provided at the opened end part 1b of a pipe body 1 having relatively larger length in comparison with its diameter, and predetermined voltage is impressed between the electrode 3 and the pipe body 1 to form corona discharge. Hence, when a large quantity of ions move to the opening 1b, an air stream directed to the interior of the pipe body 1 is formed by the kinetic energy of said ions. On the other hand, paint is sprayed through a nozzle 2 in parallel with said voltage impressing operation, to let paint particles existent in a space between the electrode 3 and the opening 1b. Hence, said particles converted into a state charged with electricity are introduced into the pipe body 1. In the middle of said introduction, the paint particles are attractively applied onto the inner surface of the pipe body 1 held at the potential of opposite polarity.
