PURPOSE:To provide a flame-retardant resin compsn. having high electromagnetic wave shielding power and good processability and moldability, containing a styrene-contg. polymer, a specified thermoplastic resin, aluminum, electrically conductive carbon black, a halogen-contg. org. compd., antimony oxide and a hydrated inorg. material. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. consists of (A) a thermoplastic resin selected from among (1) a styrene-contg. polymer, (2) a polymer obtd. by treating a high- molecular material selected from among rubbery materials and polyphenylene ether with a monomer contg. styrene and (3) a mixture obtd. by mixing said high-molecular material with a styrene-contg. polymer, (B) powdered, fibrous and/or flaky aluminum or aluminum alloy, (C) electrically conductive carbon black, (D) a halogen-contg. org. compd., (E) antimony oxide and (F) a hydrated inorg. material in a specified ratio.
