A method for treatment of senile dementia comprising administration to a patient of a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of the formula <IMAGE> I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, in which formula the groups R0 are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, alkyl having 1, 2 or 3 carbon atoms, and alkoxy having 1, 2 or 3 carbon atoms; R1 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl; R2 is methyl or ethyl; R3 and R4 are the same or different and are hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1, 2 or 3 carbon atoms; and n is 0, 1 or 2.
