NOVEL CEPHALOSPORIN DERIVATIVE AND ITS PREPARATION

NEW MATERIAL:7beta-[ 2-(2-Aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-{(2-pyrrolidon-3-yl)oxyimino}acetamido]-3-(1 -amino-1H-tetrazol-5-yl)thiomethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid and its salt. USE:An antibacterial agent for Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and a nutritive additive for animal feed. PREPARATION:A 7-amino-3-cephem derivative(salt) shown by the formula I (R<1> is H or ester residue) is reacted with an acetic acid derivative (reactive derivative) shown by the formula II(R<2> is H or amino-protecting group), to give a 7-substituted-amino-3-cephem derivative shown by the formula III, and, if necessary, an amino-protecting group and/or ester residue of the compound shown by the formula III is eliminated.
