PURPOSE:An outer layer containing an active type vitamin D3 and a diluent which is easy soluble in organic solvents is formed on the inner layer of another dilutent hard soluble in organic solvent to give the objective composition for medicinal preparation with improved stability and absorbability of the active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:(A) An active type vitamin D3, which is effective for rickets and osteoporosis, e.g., a compound of formula I [R1 is H, OH; R2 is formula II- V(r1-r3 are H, OH, when R1 is H, at least one of r1 and r2 is OH)] and (B) a diluent which is easy soluble in organic solvent such as polyvinyl pyrrolidone are dissolved in an organic solvent. Then, the solution is combined with another diluent hard soluble in organic solvents, such as crystalline cellulose, then the solvent is distilled off to form the outer layer consisting the active ingredient A and the diluent B on the inner layer of the diluent C. Thus, the active ingredient A is stabilized and the particle size distribution and the content of the active ingredient A are uniformized whereby the objective composition is obtained simply and efficiently.
