PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of polishing finishing while standardize a finishing time by fixing abrasive grains to the surface of a polishing tool which is formed smaller than while in the same shape as a cavity, inserting said polishing tool into said cavity, and relatively moving while pressing said tool. CONSTITUTION:A mounting part 6 to a machining device, is installed to the center of the base end part of a polishing-tool base 3 which is formed smaller by the amount of the thickness of a first parting agent 10 than, while in the same shape as, a cavity 9, and plural through holes 14 directed to the opposite surface to a base-end surface are provided in the base 3. On the other hand, a second parting agent 15 consisting of plastics, silicone rubber, etc. is thinly coated on a metal mold 1, the tool base 3 is introduced into the cavity 9, a mixed liquid consisting of abrasive grains and thermoset resin is poured in from the through holes 14, and, when it is filled in the gap part which is formed between the tool base 3 and the inner surface of the cavity 9 via the second parting agent 15, the abrasive grains are fixed to the surface of the tool base 3. Then, after the mounting part 6 of a polishing tool 2 is mounted on the machining device, the polishing tool 2 is inserted into the cavity 9 and repeatedly rotated normally and reversely while being pressed against the bottom part, to carry out polishing. |
