PURPOSE:To transfer energy in both forward and reverse directions by using set voltage compared with the voltage of a capacitor as first set voltage on a forward transfer and it as second set voltage on a reverse transfer. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage of a capacitor 7 reaches to -Vm by an energy transfer to the capacitor 7 from a second superconducting coil 6, an output from a comparator 10 is changed into a low level, an FF circuit 11b is set and a thyristor 4 is ignition, and a thyristor 3 is arc-extinguished. The currents of the coil 6 flow backward in a closed circuit with the thyristor 4, and the voltage of the capacitor 7 is kept as it is -Vm. A fixed time set by a timer 16 passes, a thyristor 1 is ignited, the charge-CVm (C is the capacitance value of the capacitor 7) of the capacitor 7 is transferred to a first superconducting coil 5. The same cycle is repeated subsequently.
