PURPOSE:To improve moldability, resistance to heat and water, etc., by blending an epoxy compd. and an ethylene/carboxylic acid copolymer with a block polyester copolymer obtd. from a crystalline arom. polyester and a lactone. CONSTITUTION:A crystalline arom. polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate is reacted with a lactone such as epsilon-caprolactone to prepare a block polyester copolymer. 0.1-20wt% mono- or polyfunctional epoxy compd. such as ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether and ethylene/carboxylic acid copolymer such as an ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer are blended with said block copolymer to obtain the titled copolymer compsn. Preferred ethylene/carboxylic acid copolymer include random copolymers contg. 25-98.5wt% ethylene units and 30-1.5wt% carboxylic acid units.
