PURPOSE:To provide a paint remover which contains organic solvent with a high polarity, methylene chloride or ketone or aromatic organic solvent, polyhydric alcohol and fatty acid and which can remove manicure, trace of paints, letters on automobile body, etc. CONSTITUTION:The remover consists of (A) 5-100pts. organic solvent with a high polarity such as tetrahydrofuran or dimethylformamide or a mixture thereof and/or (B) 5-100pts. methylene chloride or acetone or a mixture thereof and/or 5-100pts. ketone or aromatic organic solvent or a mixture thereof, or (C) 5-100pts. mixture of (A) and (B), (D) 5-40pts. polyhydric alcohol such as glycerine or polyvinyl alcohol or a mixture thereof and (E) 5-90pts. fatty acid such as liquid paraffin or paraffin wax or a mixture thereof.
