PURPOSE:To make available the replacement of erosion shield plate for a turbine blade with no risk of being distorted, by employing steps of stripping an old shield plate, then giving the blade a reverse distortion and fusing a new shield plate. CONSTITUTION:In the rotor of steam turbine having an erosion shield plate 3 fused by a silver brazing 4 at the steam inlet side of final-stage blade 2, the shield plate 3 is replaced by heating it and then fusing the silver brazing 4 over it for the strip thereof. Then, a jig 8 having pinching plates 9... is fixed on a group of shield plates that are not to be replaced by means of bolt 12. After a plurality of tension devices 13 provided at the jig 8 has tits has its hook-shaped top end hooked on a shroud 5 at the position where a group of shield plates 3 is situated for replacement, a bolt nut 14 is tightened to impose a reverse distorsion delta on a clearance between the groups A and B. Thereafter, a new shield plate 3 is fused on the group A of blades 2 and the jig 8 is removed. Thereby, the replacement of old shield plates is completed. |
