PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the titled device by associating a detector in a braking mechanism and integrating the motor braking mechanism and the detector. CONSTITUTION:A braking mechanism 14 is disposed at one end side of a rotational shaft 13 of a motor 11. The mechanism 14 has a rotary plate 15, annular pads 15, 17, and an electromagnetic drive unit 18 for selectively urging the pad 17 to the plate 15. A detector 33 for detecting the rotating speed or rotating phase of the motor 11 is mounted in the cylindrical space 32 formed coaxially with the shaft 13 at the center of the yoke 23 of the drive unit 18. |
