PURPOSE:To make a by-level mode attainable as well as to improve comfortableness, by combinedly installing an air heater and an air bypass passage having an airflow adjusting damper in opposition to an airflow at the downstream side of an evaporator. CONSTITUTION:In case of an air conditioner provided with an inside and outside air damper 8, an air blower 9 and a refrigerating cycle evaporator 11 inside a duct from the upstream side in regular sequence, an air heater 12 to be made to pass engine cooling water by way of a flow control valve 13 and an air bypass passage 14 bypassing this air heater 12 are set up at the downstream side of the evaporator 11. Inside the air bypass passage 14, a damper 15 adjusting a bypass air quantity is installed interposingly. And, cold air passing through the air bypass passage 14 is blown off from a breast blowoff passage 18 having a breast damper 17 to the side of an upper half of the body of people aboard while warm air passing through the air heater 12 is blown off from a foot blow- off passage 20 having a foot damper 19 to the side of an upper half of the body of people aboard, respectively. |
