PURPOSE:To shorten the working time and to reduce the material cost of a commutator by inserting a cylinder made of L-shaped commutator segments and insulators between the segments into a swell aligning jig, clamping it under pressure, and then molding of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:L-shaped commutator segments 4 and insulators between the segments are alternately aligned around a cylindrical swell aligning jig 11 mounted at the center of a base 10, and a clamping ring 9 is engaged above them. Then, arms 8 are opened, a pressing jig 6 is moved down, the ring 9 is pressed by the jig 6, thereby clamping under pressure the cylinder made of the segments 4 and the insulators. Then, the ring hooks 12 of the arms 8 are engaged with the ring 9, while the ring and the cylinder are removed from the jig 11, inserted into molds, molded, the ring 9 is then removed, thereby forming a molded commutator. |
