<p>The windscreen wiper unit has a reversible electric drive motor coupled via a pendulum mechanism to the wiper shaft carrying the wiper blade, the latter wiping a wiping field defining by a circular segment when moved in one direction and moved into a parking position outside the wiping field at the end of its reverse motion. This is effected by efficient displacement of one of the elements of the pendulum mechanism. The displacement is effected via a rotating element which is effective during the reverse rotation and incorporates the guide for controlling the displacement. The rotating element is held in the reverse rotation position via a freewheel bearing.</p> |
