PURPOSE:To perform easily welding between a steel frame beam and a steel frame column by using a small sized flat plate made of a metal for end tabs, forming a part of the surface thereof as the welding part to the end part on the side face of the steel frame and forming the remaining part as outflow preventive parts for a molten metal. CONSTITUTION:A strap plate 4 is placed on the bottom end part in the upper and lower flange parts 3a of an H-shaped steel frame beam 3, and end tabs 1, 1 are placed in the end parts on both side faces in the flange parts 3a. The tabs are fixed by tack welding such as arc welding in through-holes 2 in the end parts on both sides. The points of the groove 5 formed in the end part on the top surface of the part 3a is then successively arc welded to build up the metal along the cage of the tabs 1, 1. The outflow of the molten metal by welding from both ends of the groove 5 is prevented by the outflow preventive parts of the tabs 1, 1. Then the beam 3 is welded strongly to a steel frame column 6. |
