PURPOSE:To simplify structure and reduce the price of the captioned device, performing multistage adjustment of an angle of radiation of a headlight through remote control of the like from a driver's seat, by realizing command control of slanting movement of a headlight and control of quantity of said movement by means of only one multistage control member. CONSTITUTION:Configuration of the captioned device is as follows. A headlight holding body, slantingly moved round its pivot by rotation of a motor 9 of a driving part 2 through a nut-shaped movable element 35, a letter L-shaped operational lever 40 and a driving body, puts the optical axis of the headlight in slanting movement. A rotary plate 12 is rotated by rotation of the motor 9 through a wheel train and a deceleration part. The rotary plate 12 forms, together with many fixed contact points 13A-13E installed in opposition to it, a multistage changeover control part 10, while two semicircular conductive parts 14, 15 are formed on the face of its sliding contact with the fixed contact points 13A-13E. Each of contact points 13A-13E is connected to each of changeover contact points 30A-30E of a multistage changeover switch 8 determining a slant angle of the optical axis. |
