PURPOSE:To obtain a compact flow rate detecting device, which has excellent detecting accuracy in a low-flow-rate region, by narrowing a stream of fluid to be detected at a downstream of a rotary body, and expediting the flow speed of the fluid. CONSTITUTION:The shape of a flow path 12 is changed into a narrow flow path 21 by a small diameter part 20. The turning flow, which is yielded by a fixed wing 13 at a downstream of a magnetic ball 14 that is an axial-flow rotary body, is narrowed in the direction of the center of the axial-flow rotary body. The speed of the axial-flow turning by the fixed wing 13 is further expedited in the narrow flow path 21. The rotation of the magnetic ball 14, which is placed in the axially turning flow, is increased by the effect of the above described speed increase. Therefore, the detection even at the low flow rate can be performed. Since the rotation in the low-flow-rate region is stabilized, the detecting accuracy can be improved. |
