PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction in transmitting efficiency by applying parameter interpolation in the unit of bits when a burst orror is detected in a device using a voice adaptive forecast coding system. CONSTITUTION:Parameter information is binary-coded alternately, and after the information is encoded with random error correction at an error correction coding circuit 61, the information is transmitted with interleaving at an interleaving circuit 62. The received bit series is subjected to inverse interleaving at an inverse interleaving circuit 63 and transmitted to an error correcting circuit 64. When it is possible to correct the burst error detected by a burst error detecting circuit 66, the error is corrected by the circuit 64. If the error exceeds the correcting capability, the parameter is interpolated in the unit of bits at a bit unit parameter interpolation circuit 65 at the next stage. |
