PURPOSE:To attain excellent conduction of electricity by enabling a battery to be charged by only mounting a handset on a telephone set main body. CONSTITUTION:The handset is provided with a tongue piece 5, a metallic contact piece 6 is fixed to the rear side and a metallic spring conductor 12 in contact therewith is provided in a pivotally mounted box 10 mounted pivotally in the telephone set main body 2. The handset 1 is used by taking up it at a call. When the handset 1 is mounted on the telephone set 2 at no calling, the pivotally mounted box 10 is moved pivotally to the right against the activating force of the metallic spring conductor 12 by the tongue piece 5 and the metallic contact piece 6 provided in a lower case 4 of the handset 1 to bring the conductor 12 into contact with the contact piece 6, thereby charging the battery incorporated in the handset. |
