PURPOSE:To accurately check to determine whether a contact is mounted on a belt- shaped base material at any time by arranging working rod suspended slidably up and down in a stripper provided above a belt-shaped base material transferring passage at the downstream of a contact mounting part and a microswitch operating with the rise of the working rods. CONSTITUTION:When a belt-shaped base material 1 is transferred and a contact material 3 inserted into a contact mounting hole 2 reaches and temporarily stops below a working rod 13, this detector lowers on the belt-shaped base material 1 and the working rod 13 rises hitting a head of the contact material 3 inserted into the contact mounting hole 2 so that a projection 12 at the center of the top thereof 13 actuates a microswitch 14 to electrically energize circuits of both microswitches 14 thereby ensuring the ascertainment that the contact material 3 is mounted on the belt-shaped base material 1. When the detector lowers on the belt-shaped base material 1, the working rod 13 fails to rise unless the contact material 3 is inserted into either or both of right and left contact holes 2 and hence, the projection 12 at the top current thereof won't actuate the microswitch 14. Thus, it is ascertained that the contact material 3 is not mounted on the belt- shaped base material 1. |
