PURPOSE:A coating composition for plastics that contains a prepolymer solution mixture of a specific aromatic polyester polyol solution with another prepolymer solution and a polyamine solution, thus showing high flexibility and impact resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by combining (A) a mixed prepolymer solution consisting of (i) a prepolymer solution having terminal NCO groups, which is prepared from an aromatic polyester melting over 150 deg.C represented by the formula (A is aromatic residue; m is 2-6; n is 5-30) and a polyisocyanate and (ii) a prepolymer bearing terminal NCO groups, which is prepared from a polymer having 30-400 hydroxyl value and 2 or more active hydrogens and a polyisocyanate with (B) a polyamine solution. EFFECT:The composition gives high coating film hardness and increased chemical resistance without increases in urethane group concentration and network.
